The Big Data Warehouse and Iceberg team is tasked with managing Netflix’s exabyte-scale data warehouse. This includes building and operationalizing foundational services that oversee the lifecycle of core tables essential for all analytical, reporting and decision-making processes involving data. Our services facilitate query engines in discovering datasets, ensure secure access to data and efficiently store data in S3 using the Iceberg table format. We are looking for a Software Engineer to help develop a developer platform that will provide the foundational tools necessary for Netflix to efficiently create GenAI applications. These data stores encompass various types, including Caching, Relational, Search, Key-Value and Composite abstractions. This team specifically concentrates on data stores and abstractions related to caching technologies such as EVCache (memcached), Redis and Hollow, as well as relational stores like RDS, Aurora and CockroachDB and search stores including Opensearch and GenAI storage linked to Retrieval-Augmented Generation.

Our compensation model is based solely on an annual salary; we do not offer bonuses. For this role, the compensation range is $170,000 – $720,000.
